Drama Facilitators
Delight is seeking two experienced Drama Facilitators to deliver two days of teacher training for our Delight in Stories programme, to year 2 and 3 teachers.
Delight in Stories is a 6-week in-school immersive storytelling adventure designed to spark children’s imaginations as they find themselves in the role of ‘the best storytellers in the world’. Through pre-recorded videos, props, costumes, and nature walks, an intriguing character named Walter Wellibøøt guides children to write and share their own stories to save Størilund. The programme empowers teachers to lead immersive storytelling experiences which helps schools embed a strong culture of reading and creative writing.
What you’ll do:
- Rehearse with the Delight team on Mon 9th Feb and Tue 10th Feb 2026.
- Deliver 2 days of teacher training to Year 2 and 3 class teachers on Weds 11th Feb and Thurs 12th Feb 2026.
- The content of the training is already finalised and your job will be delivery only.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced drama facilitator with a background in theatre or performance.
- Creates a safe, inclusive space where participants feel confident to explore and take risks.
- A talent for guiding groups with patience, energy, and positivity
- Passionate about building confidence and skills in participants
