North West – Sales Consultant

Added 19th February, 2026

A Field Sales Consultant is needed to join Promote Your School, the market leader for delivering bespoke Wall Art to the education sector.

Covering the North of England, you will play a key role in exciting potential clients with the idea of creating inspiring learning environments for primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities.

We’re keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in education, sales consultancy or creative industries. The ideal candidate could be a teacher looking to transition out of the classroom while staying connected to the education sector, a consultative salesperson seeking to apply their skills within a creative and educational context, or someone with experience in the creative industries ready for a new and rewarding challenge.

With more than 20 years of experience and an extensive portfolio of amazing work, Promote Your School is a unique agency that produces bespoke projects that push the boundaries of creativity in the education sector.

As the Field Sales Consultant, you will attend sales meetings to explain and demonstrate Wall Art products, offering consultations to clients and representing the company. Communication skills should come naturally to you as you confidently navigate meetings with clients, nurture sales opportunities, close sales, and meet targets. You will own client relationships and oversee projects from order to completion, so being able to build and maintain trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across the education sector is vital. Additionally, you will attend regular trade shows to promote the brand, products, and services.

To qualify, you will need to demonstrate:

• A solid understanding of the education sector — its challenges, needs, and key purchasing drivers.
• Proven experience in, or the ability to quickly learn, sales techniques and pipeline management, with an adaptable approach tailored to the education market.
• Experience working remotely in a field sales capacity, or a demonstrated ability to do so effectively.
• Strong customer service skills, with confidence and professionalism in face-to-face interactions.
• Ability to work independently, managing time, priorities, and workload efficiently.
• A personable, approachable, and friendly demeanour.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Punctual, organised, and consistently productive.
• Commitment to following company processes and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in active listening and understanding customer needs.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the North of England.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.

Primarily working from home, you will have a level of autonomy; therefore, you should be the type of person who can take the initiative and get the job done. The role involves travelling daily to meetings in various areas across the North West of England (see location section above).

Naturally, you’ll be provided with all the tools to succeed (competitive salary, laptop, mobile, and car expenses), along with support from an amazing team delivering superb designs. You can expect fantastic training and support, excellent earnings, and a career path to match.
