Self-Employed Tutor

Updated 27th February, 2025

Keystone represents a team of around 250 self-employed tutors. Self-employed tutors work on a freelance basis with full control over their timetables. We look for candidates who are keen to make tutoring a part-time or full-time career.

What we are looking for:

  • A commitment to tutoring until the end of the academic year (and ideally for a 2 year period)
  • The capacity to tutor for 3+ hours a week
  • Teaching experience – either in the classroom or as a tutor
  • A strong academic record
  • A passion for education

We are particularly looking for candidates who can teach Computer Science, IB Maths & Sciences (online) and those who can teach face-to-face in central London at primary levels.

If we want to proceed with your application, we shall give you a call in the first instance to ask you some further questions about your experience, commitment and subject specialism. There is then a further online interview in which we will ask you to demonstrate your teaching skills and to take a short academic test.

To apply please follow the link quoting ‘Did Teach’ in the ‘How did you hear about us’ section: https://www.keystonetutors.com/vacancies#AF.
