University Test Content Creator for the TMUA, ESAT and MAT

Position Overview

We’re seeking experienced, subject-specialist freelance Content Creators to develop high-quality educational materials for the TMUA, ESAT and MAT university entrance tests. 

Ideal candidates will combine subject matter expertise with creative content development skills to produce accurate practice questions that align with current examination specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop practice questions across the relevant curricula
• Write model answers/explanations for all practice questions
• In addition, have the ability to create varied content formats including study guides, revision materials and interactive learning resources
• Ensure all content aligns with the latest specifications and requirements of the specific tests
• Stay current with curriculum changes to update content accordingly
• Write clear, engaging explanations of complex topics suitable for the target age groups
• Create supporting visual content including diagrams, charts and illustrations where appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching and/or educational content creation
• Deep understanding of the online University test market
• Proven track record of creating successful educational content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy standards

Essential Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and content creation tools
• Experience with digital learning platforms and educational technology
• Strong research and fact-checking abilities
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way

Desirable Skills

• Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
• Experience of supporting and preparing students for university applications to courses requiring these tests
• Knowledge of educational psychology and learning theories
• Experience with multimedia content creation
• Understanding of accessibility requirements in educational materials
