Reading Lab Tutor
Reading Lab Tutor – Greenwich, London (Term Time / Fixed Term Contract)
We are looking for a skilled Reading Lab Tutor to work a minimum of 2 days a week to deliver our Reading Lab programme in our partner secondary school in Greenwich.
The successful candidate will tutor small groups of pupils on a one-to-three basis in a mixed comprehensive secondary school. You will tutor 15 pupils twice a week on our 10-week catch up reading comprehension programme. Full training and induction will be provided along with ongoing support.
We are looking for a tutor who can build supportive and encouraging relationships with secondary aged children and help them reach their potential; undertake assessments, maintain accurate records that produce clear impact data and able to forge a strong relationship with the partner school team.
ou will be an experienced teacher, tutor or high level teaching assistant and able to engage with the specified age group. You can demonstrate empathy, understanding and patience towards pupils who require additional support, you are competent in Microsoft packages with excellent communication and organisational skills.
The roles is currently for one academic year from September 2025 with the potential to be extended.
