Key skills:

  • Organisational and communication skills.
  • Interest in supporting young people.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards young people and communicate a positive message about their potential.
  • Classroom / teaching experience is desirable.

We offer:

  • An Enhanced DBS check.
  • Training and agreements required around safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
  • Full induction at the start of your volunteering and regular support, supervision and reflective practice sessions are offered throughout to support you in the role.
  • Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses, such as travel, will be available.
  • An opportunity to enhance your CV with experience of working with young people.
  • Reference available for future employment (after six months of volunteering)
