Adventures After Teaching

As a mainstream Head of Geography, I loved the craft of communicating ideas, designing the curriculum and creating learning. After 7 years I began to take a greater interest in the students who struggled to succeed.

I am at the start of a new adventure; I do not know what will happen but what I do know is this: Teaching is a wonderful profession.

I absolutely loved my job as a teacher, but I increasingly felt that, for me, the work-life balance was not sustainable. Disillusioned with the politically changes and a lot of my morals and beliefs just didn’t align any longer.
