Customer Engagement Assistant
We are looking to recruit an organised and customer-focused Customer Engagement Assistant to join our dynamic, growing Engagement (Marketing) Team. At Literacy Counts, we are dedicated to improving outcomes for children in reading and writing. Our multi award-winning resources and expert consultancy support schools in enhancing their English curriculum. We are passionate about empowering educators to help all children reach their potential.
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Engagement Assistant to support the Customer Engagement Department and help deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.
In this role, you will provide first-line customer support, coordinate training and webinar bookings, assist with events and ensure customer records and resources are maintained to a high standard. You will also provide administrative support to the wider Engagement Team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of services.
Key responsibilities:
Provide first-line support and respond to customer enquiries.
Coordinate training sessions, webinars and event logistics.
Prepare customer resources and support consultants with materials.
Maintain accurate customer records and resource stock.
Provide administrative support and contribute to departmental priorities.

Essential
Experience providing excellent customer service and first-line support.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to manage bookings, records and multiple tasks accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using digital systems and online platforms
Desirable
Experience supporting training sessions, webinars or events.
Experience working in an education or customer-facing environment.
Ability to prepare and manage customer resources and materials.
Experience maintaining accurate records and databases.
A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
