Academic Tutor

Added 24th April, 2026

Looking for a way to keep teaching—without the classroom?

At Best Foot Forward, we work with experienced teachers who still care deeply about education—but want a more flexible, meaningful, and sustainable way to do it.

Instead of managing a full classroom, you’ll work one-to-one with students who need a personalised approach to re-engage with learning. This is teaching—as it should be.

The Role

You’ll provide 1:1 tuition in Maths, English and/or Science to students who are not currently in full-time education, including those with additional needs such as:

 Autism (ASC)
 ADHD
 Anxiety
 SEMH

Your focus will be on:

 Building trust and confidence
 Adapting learning to individual needs
 Supporting real, measurable progress
