Contract Type
Self-employed initially, with a clear pathway to transition into a full-time employed role based on performance and organisational growth
Working Pattern
Term-time only, with the possibility of optional additional hours available during school holidays if available. This role is delivered on a fully remote basis, offering flexibility to work from any suitable location.
Hours
5 hours per day, 5 days per week in term time
Three days per week: core hours typically 10:00am–3:00pm. Two days per week: flexible working any time within the hours of 9:00am–6:00pm
Rate
Self-employed- Competitive and negotiable hourly rate of up to £32 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Employed- up to £35,000 per annum (pro rata, mainly term-time only) for employed candidates
This role offers flexibility in engagement, with the option to be appointed on either an employed or self-employed basis, subject to mutual agreement.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive professional to join our team in a dynamic, multi-functional operational role, supporting placements, partnerships, and case management.
This is a remote position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will act as support between parents, Local Authorities, schools, tutors, and families, helping ensure placements run smoothly and maximising student attendance, engagement, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Attendance and Engagement Coordinator, monitoring and improving student attendance, and using attendance and assessment tracking systems
- Quality assure and distribute lesson reports to stakeholders, reinforcing attendance, progress, and safeguarding awareness- this will be carried out on a daily and half-termly basis, and may also involve support with termly quality assurance paperwork
- Conduct regular proactive engagement calls (2–3 times per week) with families and tutors where engagement is low, particularly for our group provision
- Communicate with local authorities about ongoing attendance queries and fill out/ collate from teachers ongoing requests for termly/half-termly reporting and paperwork
- Completion and submission of student applications across multiple Local Authorities, leveraging internal AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Attend and contribute to online review meetings and Local Authority panels, providing clear updates on student progress
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide general operational, recruitment and administrative support as directed by the Head of Operations
What We’re Looking For
A strong candidate will demonstrate:
- Clear, confident communication across phone, email, and meetings
- Strong organisational discipline and attention to process
- Comfort using systems, spreadsheets, Google Suite, and ideally AI tools
- Working knowledge of Tutorcruncher would be preferable, but not essential
- Some experience in education, Alternative Provision, or working with Local Authorities and vulnerable learners
- Confident, warm, and professional communicator (across phone, email, and formal meetings)
- Proactive, adaptable, and a team player
- Knowing when to ask the team for support and when to act autonomously
