We’re excited to announce that Did Teach has embraced it’s tagline and has now become Those Who Can.
Why the change?
Since we first launched in 2015 we have been proud to champion the incredible skills of teachers and help those who wish to do so, transition from education into a new career.
As our knowledge, connections and resources have grown, we have wanted to help even more teachers, including those who want to continue growing their career within education.
So Did Teach has now grown into Those Who Can – an organisation that supports and grows the careers of all teachers, both inside, outside and beyond the classroom.

Our story
“Imagine a recruiter that employed teachers for jobs in other sectors. Now wouldn’t that be a thing?”
In 2015, staff in the schools that our founders worked in were under threat of redundancy. At that time, recruitment advice for ex-teachers was non-existent and employers weren’t listening.
Our founders didn’t get axed but many talented teachers did. Galvanised to champion the skills of teachers to other sectors, they created Did Teach, which grew into a job board and relationships with over 400 organisations. To date our site has been used by over 1 million teachers.
Today our commitment to help progressive teachers discover alternative careers outside of the classroom remains. However, it has also expanded into new areas. Each day, teachers are inspiring us to discover organisations to excel their careers. Their hunger to learn and develop new skills has driven our evolution and our ambition to work with innovative brands offering technologies, skill acquisition or advice to teachers.
As we continue to grow into these areas, we believe that now is the right time for a new name for our organisation. Those Who Can is working towards a world where teachers can interchange between schools and businesses, creating more synergy between the world of work and education. Our vision is for a future with enriched skills, more agility, enhanced collaboration, greater flexibility and an increased appreciation for the work of the teaching workforce.
